Part of this years themed evenings money went to MS research
Paul did a talk to Bridekirk WI & raised another £50 for this years Cockermouth Travel charity fund – the ladies donated £25 which we match & at the and of the year after our themed evenings and other events all will be donated to the West Cumbria Renal Trust
Was used to help fund flights to New Zealand for the Spelling Bee team
We treated Cockermouth Junior football club to some new jerseys – very tasteful!!
We found a good cause for the £600 we raised from our themed evenings – Cockermouth Mayor Sam Standage was lost for words when Paul & Zoe turned up with a big cheque (in more ways than one?)
Jonathan from First Class Holidays did an amazing Canada presentation last night & we raised another £140 towards this years Charity fund
Its client evening season here at CT, we had a great sold out night for Hurtigruten coastal voyages, the presentation was fantastic with some amazing images which really brought the destinations to life and a good time was had by all. Every year we donate a £1000 travel bursary to Cockermouth School, the idea is that it helps pupils who are perhaps unable to afford to travel to join in.
