Just back from an amazing trip… first stop was Athens, we stayed in Piraeus & had days out visiting the Acropolis, the beautiful Palaka district & on the hot days we copied the locals & went to the beach. We ate in local restaurants & had some delicious food.
The first port on our Virgin Voyages cruise was Beautiful Santorini, I loved Oia but Fira was a bit too commercialised for me
Next stop on our cruise was Rhodes Town, a beautiful medieval World Heritage site & somewhere I would love to visit again someday soon
Our next stop was Bodrum where I had the full Turkish barber experience…the head waiter at dinner asked if I’d put my head in a microwave 🤣 Dinner on the ship was in the amazing Test Kitchen (no microwave)
