Wow what can I say! Grand it certainly is!
The Grand is the new section of the Moon Palace – joining the existing Sunrise and Nizuc buildings. Staying at the Grand gives you VIP access to the Moon Palace – you can use all facilities in all areas of the hotel including restaurants and bars. If you’re staying in the Moon Palace itself you will need to use your resort credits if you wish to use the Grand.
Everything is included here, no extra charges for any restaurants and all drinks are premium brands. With 20 restaurants to choose from we couldn’t quite get round them all in 1 week! My favourite was Tavola the Italian restaurant, the pasta was divine and the atmosphere (and wine) was fab!
The Grand has a full water park, so it great for families plus Grand guests get free unlimited use!!
All rooms at the Grand come with a Jacuzzi bath in the room, a mini bar restocked daily with beers, soft drinks and water and a snack draw restocked daily with lots of nice goodies. The beds were one of the comfiest I’ve ever slept in (rivaling The Aria beds in Las Vegas!)
One of the highlights of my holiday was releasing the turtles back into the sea, the Moon Palace organizes this on the beach couple of times a week at certain times of year and we were lucky enough to be there at this time.
I could go on and on about this hotel, it’s just amazing!
