While you can go to Vietnam just to relax on the beach there is so much more
to do – enjoy an overnight cruise in Halong Bay and stroll around the graceful
capital Hanoi. In the centre of the country the old imperial capital of Hue has
the best monuments and a couple of hours south is everyone’s favourite spot;
Hoi An. Here the atmospheric old trading town is the perfect base to relax
perhaps at one of the fabulous nearby beach hotels. Elsewhere do not miss
out on frenetic Ho Chi Minh city or think about one of the beautiful beach
areas of the south such as Con Dao.
